Just downloaded it. Listening right now… Daylight sounds pretty nice so far! Was hoping you’d stuck with the heavier sound and it seems like you have. Lovely stuff x
Just finished listening to the new e.p. and ladies its fantastic, great job. and thanks for never being one of those bands that starts to suck. keep it up and i’ll see ya on tour. viva la finch!!!
Fucking awesome.
Famine and Disease is unbelievable and Chinese Organ Thieves may be the best song you guys ever wrote (Dreams of Psilocybin a very close second).
Please don’t wait another 3 years to record a full length!!
See you Aug 5th!
WOW the EP is amazing. I listened to all of your cd’s today and this stuff is your most intricate and complex stuff yet…it is truely something you listen to and feel fully satisfied after. Will you guys be putting out a full album soon?
Also you guys should come do a show up in Anchorage,AK…its an awesome place and you have lots of fans here!!
I have a gazillion more, if you care to see them, feel free to e-mail me at: ang1o2@yahoo.com. Also, your cover of Bury White was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Thank you so much!
Still rocking your fantastic EP… the songs get better every day. The EP doesn’t sound like Falling Into Place, doesn’t sound like What It Is To Burn, and doesn’t sound like Say Hello To Sunshine.
You have managed to make 4 great CD’s that all sound very different from one another yet are all amazing and most of all FUN to listen to.
Kudos gentlemen.. that takes talent.
Thanks for an awesome show! You guys were amazing! Please come thru the bay again soon! Here are a few pics for your viewing pleasure! Also, your cover of Bury White was AMAZING!!!

great work - true to your progressive style. looking forward to a full-length, but this snack will hold me over… great music takes time and effort - SHTS is proof of that
You guys were awesome last night here in Tempe…. home of the Sun DEVILS!
Everybody I heard kept saying how you blew them away.
After you finished your last song and the house lights came on a guy next to me said….”Fuck man, I guess they’re BACK!”
Indeed.
Thank you and I hope to hear Famine and Disease and the epic Chinese Organ Thieves live another day.
I’ve heard COT live, but that was in January before the EP was even recorded.
My friend and I were drinking a couple of beers and singing along as close as possible to the stage since The Clubhouse won’t let you out of a certain area with alcohol.
Anyway, right when you kicked into Post Script(it would make a better story if it was “Dreams of Psilocybin”,”From Hell” or lyrically “Without You Here “(but you guys were opening that night and couldn’t play EVERYthing, I understand.)
So, from where we were, the two of us had perfect view of you guys playing straight ahead, perfect audio and as all of this was happening and you guys were KILLING IT this huge storm blew right over us…. Unusual for this desert, though not this time of the year.
First it was this gigantic Dust Storm, then it started, lightening and thundering(which was inaudible cause last night “Finch was louder than Mother Nature!!!”), and it was even hailing a little. Then as you were DESTROYING Worms of the EARTH, the winds bent the Palm trees over in half and the rain started going sideways….
it was like … like Armageddon outside with a cool breeze coming in to our right, and then, out of nowhere, something blew the doors to the venue wide open.
God wanted to hear “Dreams of Psilocybin!” and was forcing his/her/its/whatevers way into the Finch show cause he also wanted to hear you cover FAR!!! ( And no it was not Jonah Matranga. Even Walter Schreifels of Quicksand and the Gorilla Biscuits is bigger than he is. But I did hear Jonah was pissed you didn’t cover ‘Sister’ off of FAR’s “Quick” - great song… check it out if you can find it, or just EMail me.)
THEREFORE, in reality, last night both Mother Nature and God (or are they the same entity?) forced their way into the party just ’cause you guys were back. And kicking ass and taking names. Talk about fucking awesome.
By the way, who cools down a packed Club like last night(8/5/08) with a ‘SWAMPCOOLER’?
Ummm…. The Clubhouse? Correct!!!! “The absolute best when you want fine, upscale environs with a cooling appeal that feels like a cross between a 115 degree night in some white trash humid as hell, meth trailer between Tempe and Temecula. At least there was a great band there playing great new and old songs, in front of a hot crowd and overpriced flat beer. (That I drank anyway… HEY!! didn’t we all?”
Thanks so much guys and see you again soon. Charlotte N.C., SEP. 9th maybe? Sure as hell if I can drive 3 hrs from Myrtle Beach.
¡EL NUEVO E.P. ES ENORME!
SOunds good. Keep it up. I like how it makes me feel there is light at the end of the tunnel. and the day to day insanities will someday end in a positive.
